Where History and Heroes  Meet

Thank you for your very generous $1000.00 donation to directly benefit our WWII Roundtable members and to help preserve military history!

59 surprised attendees enjoyed free meals at our February 23, 2026 dinner meeting.

We deposited the remaining money into our out-of-town guest speaker kitty.

Thank you,

Executive Board, WWII Roundtable

On April 18, 1995, a new Visitor Center, constructed from two authentic World War II Quonset huts, was dedicated. The center features a video theater, research library, exhibits and a gift shop. For more information about The Ernie Pyle WWII Museum, please click below or visit:

The Ernie Pyle World War II Museum is located in the west-central Indiana town of Dana, Indiana, near where Ernie grew up. Through the efforts of the Indiana Department of the American Legion and a sizable contribution from the  Eli Lilly Foundation, the Historic House was moved from it's rural site to it's present location. It became a state historic site in July 1976.
